Nadine Gordimer is a Nobel Prize winning author from South Africa. Born in 1923, Gordimer has been published since she was 15 years old. She began writing at a young age because she was pulled out of school at 11 years old. As Nadine Gordimer continued to write, she became well known for her works about Apartheid and other controversial issues. Some of her most famous novels include July's People and the The Late Bourgeoise World.
